Plan a day in Harborview for each of 8 visitors, so each plan fits their budget, time and needs.
Client scenario
Welcome to the Harborview Visitor Center. You've just been hired for the trip-planning desk at the Harborview Visitor Center (fictional), in a small harbor town. Every morning, visitors leave a request card at the desk saying who they are, how long they have, what they can spend and what they need. Tomorrow eight groups are coming back to collect their plans.
Client: The Visitor Services Manager (the teacher in role), and through the manager, the 8 visitors.
Each visitor needs a one-day plan that really works for them: open when they get there, inside their budget, and possible with their walking and access needs.

The twist: The manager hands over the Overnight Update (H3): tomorrow's forecast is now heavy rain all day, and the Harborview Maritime Museum has announced it is closed for the day. The guide's rain rules apply: the boat tour is cancelled and outdoor stops are not recommended.
Standards mapped
Mapped means the framework is verified and the teacher confirms the evidence. It isn't a claim that a project meets a standard.

Safety, devices and privacy
Everything stays on paper or school devices. No phones, and no personal accounts. Students use the printed town guide and map; they don't look up real towns, real map apps or real businesses.
The visitors are fictional. Request cards give needs (budget, time, walking, access), not names or personal details, and students never add any.
Respectful, accurate access language. Plans describe step-free routes, seating and rest breaks plainly, without guessing about anyone's abilities beyond the card.
Nothing leaves the classroom. Reply notes go to the teacher (the manager), not to anyone outside.
No photos of students. Plans, logs and the Evidence Sheet carry no student names or personal information. Sign work "Team [#]".
Low-cost, school-realistic materials only. Follow the school's usual classroom rules.
Creative Dad On the Job is in-class client project work. It is not a paid, off-campus On-the-Job Training (OJT) placement.
