Tell us which 2 of our 6 program ideas to add, and give us a survey we can trust next time.
Client scenario
Welcome to the research team. You've just been contracted by Lakeside Recreation Center (fictional) to help it choose two new programs for next year. The center ran a quick pilot survey last month. It wants a better survey for the future, an analysis of what it already has, and an honest recommendation.
Client: The Center Director (the teacher in role).
The center can afford two new programs out of six ideas, and it wants the choice to reflect what the community actually wants.
Roles
Project Lead
Survey Designer
Data Analyst
Visualization Designer
Quality Lead
The twist: The Quality Lead's check (or the Data Note, H3, if they haven't found it) shows that most responses came from one age group (55 and over), and 40 responses look like duplicates: same time stamp, same answers.
Standards mapped
Mapped means the framework is verified and the teacher confirms the evidence. It isn't a claim that a project meets a standard.

Safety, devices and privacy
School devices only. No phones, and no personal accounts. Spreadsheets and slides are made in an offline tool or a school-managed account.
The dataset is fictional and anonymous. Students analyze the teacher-provided file only.
Collecting real responses is optional and only with school approval. If the school approves it, the survey is anonymous (no names, emails, birthdays, addresses or student ID numbers; age bands only), taken on paper or a school-managed form with email collection turned off, and only from people the school approves. Students never survey people outside school or online.
Nothing leaves the classroom. The survey isn't sent to the public, and the dashboard isn't posted.
No photos of students. No student names or personal information on any deliverable. Sign work "Team [#]".
Low-cost, school-realistic materials only. Follow the school's usual classroom rules.
Creative Dad On the Job is in-class client project work. It is not a paid, off-campus On-the-Job Training (OJT) placement.
